After installation, the SecurID application and seed record are securely stored on the Palm device. SecurID for the Palm Computing Platform is installed on the Palm device via an easy, one-time installation method that uses the standard HotSync^® process. To authenticate, a user launches the SecurID application on his or her Palm device and enters a secret PIN to obtain a passcode which is then sent to the Authentication Manager for verification.
